314 students from Genesee Community College named to Dean's List. Full or part-time students that earned a quality point index of 3.50 to 3.74.

200 students from Genesee Community College named to Provost's List. Part-time enrollment & earned a quality point index of 3.75 or better.

430 students from Genesee Community College named to President's List. Full-time enrollment & earned a quality point index of 3.75 or better.

Morrisville State College recently announced the students who were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2016 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.

Students honored on the Provost's List are enrolled part-time and earned a grade point average of 3.75 (roughly equivalent to an A) or better.

Students honored on the President's List have maintained full-time enrollment and earned a quality point index of 3.75 (roughly equivalent to an A) or better.

The Leadership Certificate Program seeks to prepare students for leadership roles and responsibilities on campus and in their future careers, communities and families. The mission of this program is embedded in a commitment to developing and enhancing a personal philosophy of leadership, a greater sense of self, an increased ability to relate to others, and deeper understanding of inherent responsibilities of active citizenship. This mission is accomplished through applied use knowledge, skills, and understanding of specific leadership theories, concepts, models, and modern leadership issues through a series of training workshops, service learning, volunteer work, and active engagement in the college community.

GCC students appear in a dinner theatre production, "The Mystery of Edwin Drood", in the Stuart Steiner Theatre, November 12-15, 2015.

Orientation Leaders (OLs) are current students who work over the summer as GCC ambassadors assisting with summer orientation programs for first-time or transfer students, and their parents & family members. OLs continue to serve throughout the year as mentors and share their experience as successful students to aid in the transition process for incoming students.
