Background: It is an exciting time of year - the days are getting longer, the ground is thawing and class registration is open now for both summer and fall 2019 at Genesee Community College. With hundreds of course offerings, now is the time to explore the many degree, career and course options at GCC's Open House.
The admissions team and representatives from our Student Success Center at Genesee Community College will be available to meet with anyone interested in earning a college education during the College's annual Spring Open House on Saturday, April 6, 2018 between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the Batavia Campus.
Faculty from many of GCC's academic programs, as well as from the student services offices will be available to answer questions about program options, admissions, career and transfer opportunities, student activities, athletics and financial aid. In the morning, attendees will receive a "sneak-peek" from current GCC theatre majors of the up-coming Children's Theatre Production "The Lamp is the Moon" and an excerpt from the recent social issues anthology, "Encounters" performed by GCC students. Following these performances, an information session and tours of the campus will be available for those interested. Explore the new Student Success Center, Richard C. Call Arena and College Village - GCC's apartment-style residential community which provides newly renovated communal housing options.
