NEW "COMMUNAL" APARTMENTS TOURS AVAILABLE

When: Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Where: Genesee Community College - College Village

Background: On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 3 p.m. officials from Genesee Community College and the College Foundation will open the doors to the newly renovated Birch Hall at College Village. The residence hall has undergone radical changes and will reopen as "community-single" style student housing facility. Each floor of the two-story building provides 14 private bedrooms surrounding a large shared kitchen, common study spaces and bathroom facilities for the ultimate college student living experience. The renovation of Birch Hall is the first phase of a multi-phase project involving several buildings within the 11-building College Village complex.

Prospective students, families and all members of the community are invited to tour the new facility and hear about the advantages of community-style living during the Open House and Reception. Officials will say a few words about the project at 3:15 p.m. Guests will be able to tour the facility and enjoy light refreshments.
