Online Winterim Classes: Earn 3 Credits in Just 4 Weeks!

Batavia, NY (10/19/2017) — Genesee Community College is offering 14 classes during winter break to accelerate YOUR degree! The Winterim session runs from December 11, 2017 through January 10, 2018. In those short four weeks, students can earn three college credits while most college students' academics are on ice.

  • Are you currently a college student at another institution? Great! Take a Winterim class at GCC and transfer those credits back to your four-year institution!
  • Do you have an Excelsior Scholarship? Use a Winterim class to keep your credit hours and maintain your eligibility!!

The Winterim session is a huge benefit to students of all academic concentrations. The courses are offered online, so you don't even have to drive on the icy roads to get to campus! Complete some of your general education requirements such as College Composition (ENG101), Statistics (MAT129), Introduction to Meteorology (MET101) and Hip Hop Culture (MUS107). There are a variety of courses available!

The complete list of courses being offered during Winterim has already been posted to www.genesee.edu/winter and students are already signing up. Check it out right away to reserve your virtual seat!
