GCC Maximized Spring Break for Fall Semester Registration

College Invites Students to Campus for FREE Assistance

Batavia, NY (04/04/2019) — The Student Success Center at Genesee Community College is maximizing the opportunity for local high school students to take advantage of their Spring Break to get a jump start registering for Summer and Fall courses.

All week long, April 15 thru 19, 2019, GCC is inviting anyone who needs to register for classes for the Summer or Fall of 2019 semesters to come to the Student Success Center, located on the Batavia Campus at One College Road in Batavia, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for a FREE one-on-one session with a dedicated Student Success Coach.

During this week, students will be able to review their specific course plan, ask questions and receive expert help with registration from Student Success Coaches specifically assigned to their major. All guests can also enjoy some refreshments, pick up some FREE GCC swag and tour the campus - including the new Richard C. Call Arena (sports complex). Those students who need to complete placement testing can also do so while on campus.

Anyone interested in taking advantage of the special Registration Week should email the Student Success Center at ssc@genesee.edu, or call (585) 345-6805 - select option 2, for Advisement, to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins without an appointment are always welcome, but advanced scheduling is advised.
