Winners of 13th Annual Student Poetry Contest Announced

Gail Reino of Arcade, NY was awarded second place for her poem, "The Spider" in the 13th Annual Student Poetry Contest sponsored by the Alfred C. O'Connell Library. More than 50 poems were submitted, judged by an eight-member panel.

Each winning poet received a certificate, a journal to continue their writing, a flash drive pen, a poetry anthology courtesy of the Literary Club, and a gift card. Reino's entry along with the other winning pieces can be read on the Alfred C. O' Connell Library website.
