Ly Tran announced as third place winner of Resume Contest

Ly Tran of Batavia NY was awarded third place by Career Services, Business Forum Club, and Student Government Association in the 3rd Annual Resume Contest.

This year, there were 38 student entries. Students were required to submit a one page resume to be judged by GCC faculty and staff members. The resumes were judged based on a rubric consisting of overall appearance, summary of qualifications, work experience, and additional sections such as skills, college activities, volunteer opportunities, and certifications. The judges also considered any errors in spelling or grammar as part of the rubric.
